How it all started

It was May 2022 when a couple of friends and I started ideating about a furniture and décor project. I'd been working at an MNC that mass manufactures things for a year; it sucked the soul out of me. I needed a genuine Indian brand which values authenticity, quality, equity, and sustainability. Life happened, nevertheless, and our juvenile dreams of creating our own line of furniture and lights got pushed onto the backburner momentarily. A really long moment that turned out to be, and two-thirds of our cooks went to cook other things while I stuck to my original dish.

A few years of simmering and stirring later, I picked up my knife, polished my skills, and made my first ever prototype! Lampoi was served!

Or rather, Lamp 01.

In reality, I learnt some basic woodworking in Goa and decided to make these old designs of mine come to life myself. And here we are now: the lamps are mutating, iterating, and evolving along with me, the brand is being built, and many a home awaits its Vastuvulu.
