What's in a name?

First of all, it ain't VAAAAAstuvulu.

It's vuh-stoo-voo-loo.

Rhymes with bus-tu-tu-tu.

It has nothing to do with vāstu: "an ancient Indian science of architecture and design that aims to create harmonious living and working spaces by aligning them with the laws of nature." Although, come to think of it, it does have to do with vāstu but not in terms of the name. Vastuvulu is a Telugu word. Vāstu is a Sanskrit word.

So! Vastuvulu. Things. Objects.

Sure, it's generic, but it's also timeless and elegant and minimalist and gets to the point fairly quickly; no pretense required.

Let's plug in neurodivergence now. Yes, that word! How easy it is for me — a neurodivergent individual — to deal with a brand name and not have to worry about masking and pretending and gauging the social aura, etc? VERY! And I'd like to keep it that way so that I may allow myself more time to create and develop the designs versus focussing more on the self, the image, the brand, the ego, the lens of perception.

That's it. That's why this brand is named what it's named.

xo,

Govi.

The Telugu word "Vastuvulu" written in English in capital red letters. A cool floor lamp to the right.
